Animal health issues after rain and flooding will be covered at a Riverina field day early next month.

A Parasites, Production and Profit field day is to be held on April 3 at the Temora Ex-Services Club, from 10am to 3pm.

Topics will include flood recovery, available government assistance, sheep lice and fly management and treatment options, and improving lamb survival.

Key speakers will be Charles Sturt University Associate Professor Bruce Allworth, Hume district vet Ian Masters, NSW DPI sheep and wool officer Geoff Duddy and agronomic consultant Peter McInerney.

The field day has been organised by the NSW Department of Primary Industries and 3D-Ag Pty Ltd, Wagga Wagga.
